AfDB’s priority areas (High5s) are: Light up & power Africa, Feed Africa, Industrialize Africa, Integrate Africa, and Improve the quality of life for the people of Africa. There are 80-member states, including 54 in Africa (Regional Member Countries).

Afreximbank was established in Abuja, Nigeria in October, 1993 by African Governments, African private and institutional investors as well as non-African financial institutions and private investors for the purpose of financing, promoting and expanding intra-African and extra-African trade. Afreximbank is headquartered in Cairo with branch offices in Harare, Abuja, Abidjan and Nairobi.

GIZ’s main commissioning party is the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
