The financing resources that are needed to adapt and mitigate climate change in Tunisia are enormous. Tunisia’s climate finance gap is estimated at US$ 1.72 billion annually, which represents 3.5 percent of the country’s GDP. Under current trends, public and multilateral sources alone will not be sufficient to close this gap.
