Africa Long-Term Finance Initiative Annual Report 2020

This report highlights the need for deepening domestic markets for long-term finance (LTF) in Africa by identifying the key longterm funding gaps in infrastructure, housing, and enterprise finance and providing recommendations for addressing those gaps. The analysis is based on the work developed through the LTF Initiative, described in section 1 of this report. The Initiative has taken a two-pronged approach: a database has been assembled (the LTF Scoreboard) 1 ; and country diagnostics have been conducted (so far in Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana and Ethiopia).
