The joint venture will offer decision support tools for banks.

Moroccan and French companies Inforisk and Altares - which provide intelligence on companies - have created a joint venture focused on Africa.

The new entity, named Inforisk Altares Africa, will offer products and services to Moroccan businesses and banks such as delinquency management for businesses, along with collection and information processing services for banks.

It should contribute to improve businesses' access to credit, given that banks will have new information at their disposal that will enable them to better assess credit risk.

"We will make available to Moroccan companies and banks our expertise gained abroad in the development of tools for decision, allowing them an outlet for their safe and prompt decision," said chief executive of Inforisk Khalid Ayouch, quoted by newspaper Liberation.

"We want Morocco to become the point of entry for development in Africa, for Moroccan and foreign operators located in the area," he added.ADNFCR-2976-ID-801821370-ADNFCR
