3rd Pan African Training Workshop in Local Currency Bond Markets– 2014 Edition

The African Financial Markets Initiative (AFMI) organizes the 3rd Pan-African training workshop in local currency bond markets for Central Bank liaison officers on December 15th and 16th 2014 in Casablanca, Morocco at the Kenzi Tower Hotel.

Over 20 countries, regional and private institutions will be represented. The 2nd day of the training is open to all professionals and experts of the Moroccan financial sector. The AFMI is an initiative of the African Development Bank launched in 2008 with the objective of promoting local currency debt markets in Africa. The objective of the workshop is threefold:
  1. Improve the quality and amount of data collected by the AFMI;
  2. Improve the completeness and quality of data; and
  3. Showcase the African Bond Index family.
