Making Finance Work for Africa, the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Banque Centrale des Etats de l'Afrique de l'Ouest (BCEAO) hosted a webinar entitled: " Digital Financial Services Interoperability in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU): The State of the Market's Maturity ".

The main objective of this session was to share the key results and insights of a study commissioned by the BCEAO and conducted by PricewaterhouseCoppers (PwC). This study assessed the maturity of the Digital Financial Services (DFS) market in the WAEMU zone (West African Economic and Monetary Union ) and is part of the ambitious DFS Interoperability project led by the subregional central bank (BCEAO).
