Research Meets Africa: Participate in the Research Conference on Inclusive Finance

Research Meets Africa aims to promote research and innovation in inclusive finance in Africa. It encourages collaboration between researchers and practitioners of the sector by involving African and international universities. The event will be held on 9 October 2017, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia alongside the African Microfinance Week. Researchers are invited to submit their research papers on solutions to respond to the growth needs of MSMEs in Africa. The conference will be structured in plenaries and Q&A after the presentations to foster the discussions between researchers and practitioners. ADA is pleased to partner with Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) in the planning of this event. IPA brings together researchers and decision-makers to design, rigorously evaluate and refine effective solutions to global poverty problems, ensuring that the evidence created is used to improve global programs.
