During these sessions, the speakers will present the advantages and opportunities that MANSA offers for the development of your business in Africa and with the rest of the world.
Context
With the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (AfCFTA) in effect since January 2021, there is an urgent need to establish the true identities of counterparties involved in business transactions; to ensure that all entities involved in this agreement, including Financial Institutions (FIs), Corporates and SMEs, comply with the laws and contribute to building the foundation for a mutually beneficial business relationship.
MANSA is the answer to the due diligence and information gap challenges faced by African companies. The MANSA platform will also offer all its members tremendous opportunities to benefit from AFREXIMBANK-led initiatives, including:
-
the promotion of intra-African trade through the FTAA ;
-
The Pan African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS) which allows trading partners across Africa to benefit from an easy and affordable electronic payment and settlement system for goods imported and exported across Africa. It aims to facilitate intra-African trade payments using the national currencies of African countries. This will significantly reduce reliance on the US dollar or the euro for regional trade payments;
-
The Trade Information Portal (TIP), which provides data to get insight on Africa and investment opportunities in the continent. The portal offers information on geography, investment climate and economic profiles, major industries, products and services traded on African countries, thus providing greater visibility and insight into Africa while reducing information asymmetry and risk perception.
There is no cost to publish/contribute your company's information on the platform.
