Dec 31, 2016 | Bank of Sierra Leone | Bank of Sierra Leone
This document sets out the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion (NSFI) 2017 – 2020 and aims to optimize collective efforts toward financial inclusion in Sierra Leone. Six key areas necessary for promoting inclusive financial systems have been identified in the National Strategy: (a) responsive policy, regulation, and coordinated action (b) client-centric products and services, (c) digital financial services (d) access to finance for MSMEs, (e) financial literacy, education & consumer protection, and (f) data & measurement. These key areas will govern the strategies that will serve as framework in crafting evidence-based regulations, designing and implementing demand-driven and client-centric programs, and monitoring progress relevant to financial inclusion.
