Ready for Growth: Solutions to Increase Access to Finance for Women-Owned Businesses in the Middle East and North Africa

This report outlines women’s challenges and specific needs in the Middle East and North Africa, through a survey of 431 women business owners across 8 economies, who are members of the MENA Businesswomen’s Network (MENA BWN). It further sets out a number of recommendations targeted at governments, lending institutions, women’s business associations, international financial institutions, and non-governmental organizations that are aimed at increasing the economic contribution of women-owned SMEs.
