This publication contains updated international standards for payment systems (PS), central securities depositories (CSDs), securities settlement systems (SSSs) and central counterparties (CCPs), designed to harmonize and strengthen the existing standards. The revised standards also incorporate additional guidance for over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives CCPs and trade repositories (TRs), and the general responsibilities for central banks, market regulators and other relevant authorities for financial market infrastructures implementing these standards.
