Impact of Microcredit in Rural Areas of Morocco: Evidence from a Randomized Evaluation

This paper presents the results of an impact evaluation of a microcredit program in rural areas of Morocco using a randomized experiment. The paper shows that microcredit increases substantially access to the financial markets, but only a fraction of households benefit from it.
