Impact Assessment Framework: SME Finance

This framework discusses the importance of rigorous impact evaluation and provides an overview of the relevance, application, strengths, and limitations of impact evaluation techniques of various SME finance policies. It covers experimental and non-experimental approaches that can be used to evaluate a broad context of SME policies and programs and provides examples of actual impact evaluations for each of the components of the 2011 GPFI SME Finance Policy Guide.
