The rapid growth of digital financial services (specifically, mobile money) and the growing availability of new technologies to collect and analyze data, provide new ways to design and deliver appropriate, low-cost risk management and insurance products to smallholder farmers globally. This guide aims to support integration of digital tools and interventions that promote access to agricultural insurance to develop an inclusive insurance market that meets the needs of households and enterprises at all income levels.
