Green jobs for women in Africa: Ghana Country Report

As economies resume growth after the shock of the pandemic, will countries take the opportunity to accelerate their transformation to a green economy by creating more green jobs? And will they also use the moment to lift up one of the most disadvantaged sectors of society and ensure women participate equitably in any new green jobs? Women will not share in new green jobs automatically; it will depend on setting and implanting the right policies, which put environmental resilience and gender equality at the core of national strategies.
