Focus Note: Health micro insurance scheme design and pricing - lessons from four countries

This note focuses on the challenges and factors that must be considered in premium setting. It summarises the findings of a comprehensive literature review on health insurance experience in four countries: Kenya, Ghana, Colombia and India to identify the key findings, challenges and lessons emerging from an international perspective for the design and pricing of HMI schemes.
