FinScope Malawi 2012 MSME Survey

This report is a nationally representative survey focusing on the status of small businesses in Malawi. It builds on an empirical analysis on the most binding constraints to Micro, Small and Medium-sized enterprises’ (MSMEs) development and growth with a focus on access to financial services. The report reviews available academic literature as well as documenting actual experiences of MSMEs.
