Financing Coffee Farmers in Ethiopia: Challenges and Opportunities

Based on an original survey carried out in 2005, this study finds strong evidence of a gap between demand and supply of financial services amongst coffee farmers in Ethiopia, and that existing financial services are too costly and often not tailored to the farmers’ needs.
