The East African Community After Ten Years: Deepening Integration

This book describes the proceedings of a high-level conference that took place in Arusha, Tanzania, on February 27–28, 2012, to celebrate the achievements of the East African Community (EAC) in its first decade and looks into upcoming challenges in its second decade. The book also touches on three aspects of regional integration: market integration, a shared infrastructure, and macro-monetary integration.
