CGAP-Sanabel MENA Update

This first joint issue of the CGAP and Sanabel is the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) bi-annual update on the microfinance industry. The MENA Update aims at sharing information about funders’ activities in the region in order to facilitate coordination and exchange. This edition has an interview with Johannes Majewski from the Deutsche GesellschaftfürinternationaleZusammenarbeit (GIZ) in which he talks about GIZ’s new regional microfinance program and shares his views about financial inclusion in the region. It also includes regional updates, country specific developments and a list of new CGAP publications. It covers events from April to September 2011.
