Angola: A Study of the Impact of Remittances from Portugal and South Africa

The study aims to understand the characteristics of pecuniary remittances from Portugal and South Africa to Angola, including the frequency and longevity of such flows, the preferred transfer channels and legislative frameworks. The study also inquires into remittances’ utilization and impact at the household level in Angola, in anticipation of future initiatives to enhance the potential development impacts of remittances in the country.
