Access to Finance in Nigeria: Microfinance, Branchless Banking, and SME Finance

This paper argues that a weak financial sector, particularly with respect to services for the non-petroleum producing sectors, has been an obstacle to Nigeria's economic growth. Nigeria’s financial system is still shallow and the majority of Nigerians lack access to formal financial service providers.
