2015 Banking Supervision Annual Report - Tanzania

The report reviews performance of the banking sector and other supervised institutions and a brief account of credit reference operations for the year ended 31st December 2015. Further, the report highlights reforms to the regulatory framework and the key supervisory activities undertaken by the Bank of Tanzania during the period under review. The main objective of the report is to disseminate information on the banking sector thereby enhancing transparency and accountability of the Bank of Tanzania to the public.
