I&p Afrique Entrepreneurs II LP

The proposed project is for an equity investment of up to $7.5 million in I&P AFRIQUE ENTREPRENEURS II (“the Fund or IPAE”), a 10 year closed-end generalist impact fund that will invest in small and medium companies in West Africa, Central Africa, East Africa and the Indian Ocean Region. The Fund is seeking to raise € 80 million total committed capital. The project will also be supported by the Blended Finance Facility (BFF) of the IDA18 IFC-MIGA Private Sector Window (PSW), created by the Word Bank Group to catalyze private sector investment in IDA countries, with a focus on fragile and conflict-affected states. The Blended Finance Facility will help the SME-Ventures fund attract more private sector investors and reach more SMEs.
