GCX

The project involves the creation and the development of a commodity exchange in Ghana, the Ghana Commodity Exchange (GCX). GCX is an initiative by private sector investors and as well as the Government of Ghana (GoG) to establish a regulated and professional trading platform for selected commodities such as Maize, Soybean and Rice. IFC is contemplating supporting the project through an equity investment and an advisory services program.
