The proposed project will make available a total of up to US$67 million in senior loans with tenors of up to 5-years to the following banking subsidiaries of United Bank for Africa Plc (“UBA Plc”): United Bank for Africa Burkina S.A in Burkina Faso, United Bank for Africa Cameroon S.A. in Cameroon, United Bank for Africa (Ghana) Limited in Ghana, United Bank for Africa Liberia Limited in Liberia, and United Bank for Africa Senegal S.A. in Senegal. The proposed project will support each subsidiary’s lending program to small and medium enterprises (“SMEs”) in their respective country of operation
