Nigeria: Access Bank partners with IFC on Capacity Development

Access Bank Plc has entered into a partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on capacity development for entrepreneurs.

partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on capacity development for entrepreneurs.

A seminar, organised by both organisations and held recently at the bank's head office, focused on enhancing personal productivity skills through effective communication.

Ope Wemi-Jones,
the
Head of Inclusive Banking at Access Bank, explained that the seminar was in line with the bank’s initiative aimed at encouraging female businesses and entrepreneurs through business education.

Fatou Giwa of the IFC
said the “Business Edge” product session was
aimed at strengthening support for MSME financing, filling market gaps and supporting women in the private sector.


She added: "Access Bank Plc is committed to women empowerment and is uniquely positioned as the bank of choice for women, offering innovative women-focused products and services.”
