NAPSA was established in 1996, through the National Pension Scheme Act of 1996. It came into being on 12th February 2000 following the transformation of the then Zambia National Provident Fund (ZNPF). NAPSA’s main functions are to collect contribution income, invest this income and then distribute benefits when they fall due.
