Crédit du Maroc (CDM), Moroccan subsidiary of French Group Crédit Agricole S.A, has launched an e-service for tax collection and payment of bank guarantees.

The new service will be available on the bank's new online goods clearance platform called Base Automatisée des Douanes en Réseau, BADR (Automated Base for Networked Customs. With the new service, CDM's clients will no more have to go to an agency to pay or collect bank guarantees. Also, they will be able to settle their administrative dues at all time. It should be recalled that CDM's initiative falls under the lender's 2018 development strategy. The latter lies on digital and technological innovations. In fact, at the end of 2016, the group had said it secured 200 million dirham ($19.5 million at constant rate) which it would invest in its technological infrastructure. Source: Ecofin Agency
