Last week, in Côte d’Ivoire, the public treasury launched an online banking app named e-banktresor. According to the Treasury's central accounting agency (Agence comptable centrale des dépôts du Trésor-ACCD), it can offer secured banking services to its clients online.

The general directorate indicates that this launch falls within the framework of the domestic resource mobilization and optimization initiative launched by the government to fund its budget.
Thanks to this platform, the treasury’s clients will access their accounts and make common banking operations like account checking or cheque book request.
They can also request the opening or closure of a bank account in the Treasury's books. E-banktresor will also facilitate treasury bonds’ subscriptions, fund transfers between various accounts and standing orders.
