The Microfinance Experience: Regional Progress

This conference aims to provide a platform for all concerned stakeholders to network and share experiences, discuss
progress towards regional objectives
and take a closer look at how effective partnerships, enabling regulatory frameworks and good practices, can assist in meeting a new era of aspirations for Micro-finance in the Arab region. The 2016 Conference will showcase experiences and ongoing initiatives which are aimed at providing insights to delegated
as they continue to work towards achieving the vision of a more inclusive and progressive environment. Session themes will include, amongst others:
  • Evolving regulatory landscape in the Arab countries: what works and what still needs to be done?
  • Alternative approaches to the provision of financial services;
  • Niche markets and how we can reach out to them; and
  • Mapping of the region: case studies from member countries.
