Making Housing Finance Markets Work in Africa

The African Union for Housing Finance (AUHF)
annual conference is held each year in a different, member country, to coincide with its annual general meeting where one of the members plays host. The conference, which focuses on a range of housing and housing finance issues on the continent, attracts a wide range of housing finance and development practitioners from the public and private sectors across Africa. The focus of this year's conference is "Making Housing Finance Markets Work in Africa". The conference will be
structured over two days. The third day is reserved for the AUHF's Annual General Meeting, and for a site visit to local housing developments. While the AGM is reserved for AUHF members only, the conference and the site visit are open to the public. The conference is set to attract businesses, the development finance sector, and governments from across Africa and globally, to consider the opportunities of investing in housing finance in Africa. Delegates will have the opportunity to engage with investors and practitioners active in housing finance markets across Africa and to debate the critical challenges facing the growth of housing markets in Africa. The conference and exhibition will give exhibitors and sponsors an opportunity to share their knowledge and showcase their work and progress.
