OVERVIEW
The African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA) was registered in Nairobi on 13th November 1993 with the objective of, inter alia, establishing an association for systematic mutual cooperation; exchange of information, materials and persons; mutual assistance and joint programmes between the members.
Membership of the association is open to any Stock Exchange or nascent Stock Exchange located in the African region. The Association holds annual conferences, which are hosted by different members each year where issues relevant to the growth of the regional capital markets are addressed.
