As part of the Trade Finance Initiative, launched in partnership with GIZ and the AfDB, MFW4A will host a two (2) day workshop on “Closing the Trade Finance Gap for African SMEs” in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire on 19-20 June, 2018.

The event will bring together local banks, other financial institutions, and development partners to identify and investigate the barriers to bank-intermediated trade finance in Africa, with a focus on the specific challenges and solutions for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). Read more.

  • The MFW4A Secretariat participated in the Continental Seminar of the Association of African Central Banks (AACB), hosted by the Banque des Etats de l’Afrique Centrale (BEAC), from 14 to 16 May in N'djamena, Chad.
