With continuing changes in rainfall patterns and shifting temperature zones, climate change is expected to significantly affect agricultural production, which could be detrimental to the region's' food security, economic growth and the livelihoods of the poor. The Making Finance Work for Africa (MFW4A) Partnership will convene on the side-lines of the AFRACA 5th World Congress on Agricultural and Rural Finance, to discuss insurance as a tool for climate risk management for African agricultural sectors. Learn More.
