MFW4A launches new Working Paper Series

The Making Finance Work for Africa (MFW4A) Secretariat is delighted to announce the launch of a new series of Working Papers. 

The MFW4A Working Paper Series has been established to stimulate discussions, the exchange of ideas and innovative thinking among researchers, development practitioners, policy makers and donors on issues related to financial sector development in Africa. The first edition of this series focuses on 'Financial Innovation and Poverty Reduction: Evidence from Rural Northern Nigeria'.

A stronger role of the private sector, focus on women economic empowerment and call for more involvement of farmers at the CAADP Partnership Platform 2015

The 11th CAADP Partnership Platform took place in Johannesburg, South Africa from 25th to 26th of March. This year's theme was "Walking the Talk: Delivering on Malabo Commitments on Agriculture for Women Empowerment and Development", in alignment with the 2015 African Union (AU) theme on women's empowerment and development. It is in this context that the NEPAD Agency launched the Programme "Women in Agribusiness" to support the economic growth and empowerment of African women.

Long-Term Finance in Africa: The Focus of Discussion in Addis Ababa

Launch of the MFW4A Research Award
