Adaptive innovation as a lever for the growth and sustainable development of African financial markets

The African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA) is an association of 28 twenty-eight Exchanges in Africa that have come together with the aim of the positioning the African Capital Markets as the engine of economic growth.

The Association hosts an annual capacity building initiative, dubbed the Building African Financial Markets (BAFM) Seminar. The BAFM Seminar is designed to equip players in the African financial markets with knowledge and skills on emerging issues within the financial services industry, so as to compete effectively on the global platform.

The Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) will be hosting the 7th Edition of the BAFM Seminar on April 19-20, 2018 at the Villa Rosa Kempinski Hotel, Nairobi. The theme of the Seminar “Adaptive innovation as a lever for the growth and sustainable development of African financial markets” is concerned with the introduction of financial instruments, the development of new processes, the use of efficient technologies, the interaction with investors and or customers and the development of new structures for financial institutions.
