Bank for International Settlements (BIS)

BIS is an international organization which fosters international monetary and financial cooperation and serves as a bank for central banks. The BIS Central Bank Hub provides a link to Central Banks’ websites and banking statistics.

Bankers Association of Zimbabwe (BAZ)

BAZ was established in 1992 to provide a forum for the consideration of matters of policy and mutual interest concerning member banks. The organization, comprising of Banks registered and authorized to conduct Banking services in Zimbabwe, provides information, research and operational support services primarily to the Banking Industry.

Botswana Institute of Bankers (BIOB)

BIOB is at the forefront of espousing the cause of banking education in Botswana and encouraging bank employees to undertake systematic study of the theory and practice of banking with a view to enhancing the efficiency of banking services.

East African Development Bank (EADB)

EADB is the apex financial institution of the East African Community and in addition to development finance and cognate services performs key roles in regional integration including offering development advice to member states of the East African Community.

Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank (PTA Bank)

The Bank’s mission is to be at the forefront of providing development capital, through customer focused and innovative financing instruments backed by competitively priced funds. Its product and service offerings are primarily trade, project and corporate finance, and to a lesser extent, equity finance and guarantees with tenors ranging from short to long term.

ECOWAS Bank for Investment & Development (BIDC-EBID)

EBID is an international finance institution for the promotion of the private and public sector. Its main objective is to contribute towards the economic development of West Africa through the financing of ECOWAS and NEPAD projects and programs.

Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC)

FITC is a nonprofit organization established to review the Nigerian financial system. It is owned by the Banker's Committee, which comprises of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, all licensed banks and discount houses in Nigeria.

Ghana Association of Bankers (GAB)

GAB's mission is to create avenues for making representations to appropriate institutions and bodies of State to consider the views of members of the Ghana Association of Bankers on issues pertaining to economic, fiscal monetary and other matters as they affect the effective performance of the financial system.

Islamic Development Bank (IDB)

IDB is an international financial institution aimed at fostering the economic development and social progress of member countries and Muslim communities individually as well as jointly in accordance with the principles of Shari'ah.

The Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA)

DBSA is one of several development finance institutions in South and Southern Africa. Its purpose is to accelerate sustainable socio-economic development by funding physical, social and economic infrastructure.
